A research analyst at East-West Digital News, Marie Kummerlowe completed her undergraduate studies at Columbia University in New York where she graduated summa cum laude and then received her graduate degree with honors at the Paris Institute for Political Sciences. She has also completed course-work abroad at the École Normale Supérieure, the Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo, and the Institute of Social Sciences and Humanities in Kazan, Russia. Born in the United States, Marie also speaks French, Russian, Portuguese, and Spanish and currently lives in Paris, France.
