Andrew Zotov

A co-founder of East-West Digital News, Andrew Zotov is considered one of the founding fathers of the Russian Internet. In 1996, he founded and chaired ROCIT, a prominent non-profit organization for the advancement of Internet technologies. In 1997, he founded RIF (Russian Internet Forum), Russia’s leading industry event to date, and served as one of its main representatives until 2004. He continues to be active in a range of industry organizations.Over the past 18 years, Mr Zotov has held top management positions at Russian and multinational IT companies as well as investment funds. He has founded and co-owned several successful start-ups. Recently he has worked as project manager and consultant in venture investments, business acquisitions, corporate restructuring and M&A projects, with over 50 completed projects since 2005. Mr Zotov holds an MSc from the Moscow Institute of Electronic Industry, and a Ph.D. in computer science.
