Mamas&Papas, a UK-based retailer for babies and expectant mothers, has joined with Russia’s Ideas4Retail in a Russian e-store project, the company’s Russian partner announced last week.
Mamas&Papas’ single-brand online outlet will offer 12 categories of goods and more than 3,500 items, including clothing for babies and pregnant women, buggies, wheelers, carrycots, pushchairs, bath essentials, furniture, car seats, toys, gifts and an array of small but useful trivia.
The project represents an easily accessible online addition to two Mamas&Papas offline stores which just opened up in Moscow and Krasnodar. For the time being, goods sold through the web-based outlet will be priced in the same ballpark, but special offers and discounts are envisioned for e-shoppers.
Partner couriers DPD and Tekhnolog are expected to deliver ordered items to any Russian locality, Ideas4Retail said.
