On June 25th, Moscow will start its own Plug and Play Moscow Tech Center and hold the Startup Fight which will shoot its winner to the Silicon Valley for astonishing three-months acceleration internship.
Plug and Play is one of the most famous global accelerators from Silicon Valley, specializing in high-tech companies. In addition to cutting edge technologies co-working, PnP helps startups to access directly with major investors within the PnP community.
Plug and Play Moscow will be opened through partnership of Plug and Play, Global Venture Alliance (GVA) and the Government of Moscow under agreement signed last year. This very moment is highly supported by Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs and Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Russian Federation. GVA is a complete innovation ecosystem that includes financial instruments, technology business acceleration services for the full business cycle of technology companies.
Main tasks of GVA include technology transfer made from Silicon Valley to Russia, BRIC and the CIS, provision of access to the global venture capital for fast growing high tech companies and their integration into the world’s innovative society.
The event will be held at Innovation Entrepreneurship Houses, located at «Premier Plaza» Technopark near the Parliament in Moscow. Technology Center will provide areas for co-working space and the permanent venue for education events and conferences. Resident options will be revealed at the event.
The Opening Ceremony of Plug and Play is to be attended by representatives of the President’s Office and the Government of Moscow, who will speak on new federal and city programs for supporting entrepreneurship in innovations.
During the opening of Plug and Play Moscow, invited guests will share their experiences in building global companies and transfer of technology between different markets.
On the same day Plug and Play Moscow shall hold Startup Fight. Fight referees are world known Russian and international businessmen. «Startup Fight» will be organized in the partnership with Glavstart — one of the most famous Russian accelerators. Fight Winner has a great opportunity to get $100K from GVA, Plug and Play Moscow and Glavstart, which include besides, 3-month internship in Plug and Play Campus in Silicon Valley.
