On May 25-26, Moscow will host Smart Cities Moscow, an international online forum dedicated to smart cities and the ‘new normal’ in the urban environment
More than 50 international speakers are expected, including heads of administrations of large megacities across the world, professors and experts from leading educational institutions, business representatives in the field of city development and digitalization.
Speakers will share the best success stories for the development of healthcare, city transport logistics, telecommunications, culture and education of the city, in the context of deep transformations dictated by the social and environmental challenges.
The conference will focus on such topics as urban development in the post-covid period, changes in the sustainable development strategy, infrastructure challenges and the deployment of IoT, Big Data, and AI technologies. Separate sessions will be dedicated to city renewable energy, the creation of a favorable urban environment, and other topical issues.
The business program will cover three major areas:
- Smart city infrastructure and technologies
- Smart cities for smart living
- Sustainable smart cities
Various communication formats are provided within the framework of the forum: from panel discussions and expert sessions, to show-cases and case studies. This online event is supported by Department of Information Technologies pf the Moscow City government. It is the prologue to the Smart Cities Moscow offline forum, which will be held in 2022.
