Russian President Dmitry Medvedev’s Twitter and LiveJournal accounts have been named the best blogs of the Russian-language Internet at the 2011 Runet Blog award ceremony.
The technologically savvy Russian leader registered on Twitter in June 2010 during his visit to the United States.
More than 191,000 people worldwide are following Medvedev on Twitter. Of that number, more than 81,000 are following him on the English-language version of the site.
