Last month international online recruitment service Zartis.com announced the launch of its platform in Moscow. Zartis provides employers with access to pre-screened IT professionals in an online marketplace making it quicker and cheaper for companies to hire tech talent.
The service, which started in Ireland, is available in Dublin, London, Berlin and now Moscow – where demand for highly-skilled software developers is constantly increasing.
Companies who have already used the service to successfully hire include multinationals like Microsoft, Apple, PayPal as well as a wide range of high-growth tech companies.
Zartis Russia is available at Zartis.ru. Every week up to 50 IT professionals in a particular area of specialization are showcased on the site. Recruitment experts add their valuable comments about every candidate’s achievements, motivation, skills and personal qualities. Companies simply log in, review candidate profiles and send interview requests directly to the chosen candidates. Zartis charges the employer a fee for each successful hire.
The benefit to candidates is that they get multiple interview requests from curated companies, making their job search much easier. Candidates are also rewarded with a gift of 15,000 rubles (approximately $300 at the current exchange rate) when they are hired.
According to Zartis founder John Dennehy, there are no direct competitors in this niche on the Russian market. “However we do operate in a highly competitive sector with effective competitor for clients from recruitment agencies and job boards,” the entrepreneur told East-West Digital News.
The Moscow office consists of 12 people working closely with their colleagues in Ireland. In Russia the project is led by Artem Zurukin, who has been in HR tech for a decade.
Zartis.com was launched in January 2014. However Dehenny started testing and developing recruitment software products as early as 2009. “The project really grew out of MakeITinIreland.com which was a project to attract software developers to Ireland,” Dennehy said.
The company received seed funding of €500,000 in 2009 and 2011.
