Yandex’s new startup accelerator, Tolstoy Summer Camp, opens for young entrepreneurs and internet specialists who would like to learn how to start their own startup.
The program will bring together young web developers, UI designers and project managers with an idea, but without resources to implement it and present it to investors. We also welcome those with a desire, experience and skills to work on an interesting project, even if they don’t have any idea to develop.
Anyone interested is welcome to apply to the program starting today, May 16. Successful candidates from all over Russia and the CIS will be expected to come up with a project and work on it during the two months beginning July 1. They will go through the full cycle of startup development from idea to business plan, to attracting funds, to launch.
Yandex will be holding their hand all the time, mentoring, helping with technological solutions and resources. Some of the leading international startup experts, including Esther Dyson (EDventure), Colette Ballou (Ballou PR), Thibaut Rouffinaut (WIP), Alisa Chumachenko (GameInsight), Sergey Beloussov (Runa Capital, Parallels) will share their insights with the program participants.
At the end of Tolstoy Summer Camp on August 30 we expect to see several new teams who would be able to successfully pitch their projects to venture investors and seed funds, know how to drive business, win their users and make money from their idea.
