Tele2 to invest $43 million in mobile coverage in Krasnodar region

Tele2 Russia, a subsidiary of a European telecommunications holding based in Sweden, intends to invest over 1.25 billion rubles ($43 million) building cellular base stations in Krasnodar region, report regional officials and Tele2.

The project is scheduled to be carried out in 2011-2013. Particular attention will be paid to remote zones with low population density as well as to broadband in big cities and resort areas.
