Summary of survey results:
According to the survey, 28% of the working residents of Russia would prefer to work for a foreign company. Of this group, 30% of the respondents under 30 expressed a desire to work for a foreign company to gain “good work experience” and practice using a foreign language. According to respondents, foreign companies maintain better discipline and their employees have “fixed benefit security, private insurance and career growth.” For all these perceived benefits, survey participants showed a willingness to turn a blind eye to “long and demanding working hours.” According to the survey results, respondents with higher salaries are better informed about the benefits of working in foreign companies: the desire to work for foreigners grows in direct proportion to the level of income.
One in four respondents (25%) reported a preference to work for a Russian company, mainly women (29% versus 22% of men). Among the survey respondents, 6% had difficulty stating their views because they had only worked with Russian companies and couldn”t make comparisons in the experience between working for a foreign company and a Russian one.
