Begun announced that it was the most highly trafficked advertising network on the Russian Internet, based on figures provided by TNS Russia.
Begun’s audience – 26.6 million unique users in January 2011 – is close to those of Yandex and Mail.ru, the two most visited Russian-language sites.
According to Mindshare Interaction, in 2010 the Russian contextual advertising market reached 13.7 billion rubles ($433 million), which represented an increase of 44% from the previous year and accounted for 62% of the overall online advertising market.
