‘Est’ Idea,’ a new Web-based platform to hunt for innovation

Est Idea,’ which translates as “I’ve got an idea,” is a new web platform being launched in Russia. It focuses on automatic control systems, telecommunications, and data transfer.

The pilot project, developed by the Moscow-based NIIAA Semenikhin Research Institute of Automatic Equipment, presents itself as “an open public online platform enabling the accumulation of ideas; [a platform] which aims at speeding up the realization of interesting, advanced, and socially significant innovation projects; supports young teams of developers in promoting advanced technologies and best practices; and lowers the administrative barriers that typically hinder innovation commercialization.”

The platform is open to all who wish to participate in scientific and technology discussions, join in projects they would find interesting, and promote their own project ideas.
