The Moscow city authorities have made available a catalog of smart city projects conducted in the Russian capital. Intended for the international community, this catalog is published in English for the first time.
Six categories are offered: human and social capital, digital government, urban environment, urban economy, end-to-end technologies, and digital technologies and communications. Each featured project includes a description with the key results, as well as references to the UN’s sustainable development goals.
Sixty-eight projects are currently featured. Among them are Moscow’s 5G Demo Center, an online investment portal, an e-voting platform called ‘Active Citizen,’ an AI-powered platform to analyze radiological images, a virtual collection of exhibits called ‘Museum Moscow Online,’ and many others.
A variety of datasets (including a selection of more than 600 open data sets on urban infrastructure facilities), as well as news, research, monitoring, reports and other smart city analytics, are also available.
“Access to Moscow Smart City projects is a unique opportunity for foreign companies, governments and analysts to study practices of the Russian capital and find new ideas for the development of their projects,” the Moscow city authorities say.
