Top Russian retailers call startups from across the world to share their innovations

The Retail Innovation Tech Alliance (RITA), an international startup scouting initiative launched by major Russian retailers, has just launched its first call for startups

RITA is seeking innovative solutions in a variety of fields, including e-commerce, transport and logistics, quality of goods, point-of-sale operations, back office automation, CRM, marketing, home mobile entertainment, automated interior design and others.

Thе call is open to startups from anywhere in the world offering a finished product or MVP.

The organizers will select 15 teams who will receive the opportunity to finalize their MVPs, test technological performance, launch a pilot with RITA partners. Successful solutions will be deployed for use by millions of customers in thousands of locations, says RITA.

The final stage of the selection will be held online on May 14 in a pitch session format. Each team will present their solution and further cooperation with RITA partners. Some of these teams will be invited to participate in the acceleration program of Lafayette Plug & Play, a Paris retail hub.

The RITA initiative is supported by Beeline, Hoff, M.Video-Eldorado Group and X5 Retail Group. This startup call is operated by GoTech Innovation.
