The French government initiative ‘Alliance Industrie du Futur’ has teamed up with ‘Nauka Innov,’ the scientific and technological branch of the Franco-Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIFR), to hold the first Franco-Russian event on these topics in Moscow on April 11.
The forum, called ‘rencontres franco-russes de l’industrie du futur,’ aims to “strengthen the bilateral dialogue in terms of industrial and economic transformation” and “assist companies from the two countries in developing and implementing new digital and industrial technologies.”
The event enjoys the support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, the French Embassy in Russia and MEDEF International.
Representatives of political, industrial and academic circles from the two countries, as well as technical experts, will share their vision the future in these fields.
In the first part of the event, working groups with French and Russian experts will discuss digital technologies, additive manufacturing, automation, robotics, Big Data, IoT, as well as standardization and certification as areas of technological and industrial cooperation.
In the afternoon, round tables will bring together the heads of large industrial enterprises, researchers, technical experts and officials from the two countries. They will discuss future prospects, the challenges of transformation, how to ensure industrial competitiveness and the way the French and Russian business work at the global level.
Education and training topics will also be covered.
Remarkable Russian and French projects with an innovative approach to production will be awarded as the first international nomination of Alliance Industrie du Futur.
