AddVenture, a venture fund with Russian roots operating internationally, has led an $8 million Series A round for Miso, a South Korean home-cleaning service app. Also participating in the round, but with undisclosed contributions, were Y Combinator, Strong Ventures, Social Capital, and FundersClub, according to CrunchBase.
Miso was the third startup from South Korea to participate in the Y Combinator acceleration program, reports TechCrunch. It has raised over $10.5 million in total, including the latest round.
AddVenture is not new to the home cleaning service business. The fund had participated in Miso’s seed round in late 2016; it has also invested significant amounts in QClean, a leading player on the Russian market.
