CPA network anticipates $500 million global sales this year for Chinese online retailers

International affiliate network admitad has just released impressive numbers about the global activities of Chinese e-commerce companies. admitad expects these players to generate no less than half a billion US dollars in revenues this year via its CPA platform.

Needless to say, this volume accounts for just a fraction of Chinese online retailers’ international business, since Admitad is not the only affiliate network available to these retailers, and CPA is not the only instrument they use.

European countries account for 69% of Chinese online sales via admitad’s CPA network. The main countries are Russia (where AliExpress has become the most popular marketplace, ahead of eBay and even local competitors), Ukraine, France, Spain, the UK and Germany.

Sales volumes have been slightly less impressive in the Norwegian islands of Svalbard and Jan Mayen, where an e-commerce aficionado made one purchase on AliExpress for $11, while in Vatican admitad reports five orders from China for a total of $400 from January to September 2017.

During these months, admitad’s CPA network generated in total some $310 million for more than 70 Chinese e-merchants. Due to the seasonal peak, admitad expects to generate additionally at least $200 million during the last quarter.

Remarkably, admitad’s CPA volumes with Chinese e-merchants doubled or even tripled in 2017 compared with last year.

“We want [admitad] to become a hub, an entry point for Chinese e-merchants to attract consumers from all over the world,” stated admitad’s CEO Alexander Bahmann.

Established in 2009, admitad launched its network in 2010. The company claims to serve currently some 1,500 clients, promoting their offers via more than 600,000 websites. These generate a traffic of more than 5 million targeted visitors every day.

To address Chinese consumers’ demand for European and American products, admitad has just established an office in China.
