Experts from major players and innovative startups to discuss data storage technologies (Skolkovo, Oct. 26)

Prostor, a major data storage event in Eastern Europe offered by RAIDIX, will hold its third edition on October 26 in Skolkovo on the outskirts of Moscow.

The event will bring together system integrators, storage vendors, IT suppliers, hardware manufacturers, representatives of CCTV integrators, media groups, TV channels, post-production studios, telecom companies, government agencies, major HPC clusters – and other companies interested in cost-effective and future-proof data storage.

The conference encompasses top-notch hardware technologies (storage devices, connectivity tools) and storage philosophies (coding, replication).

The international program committee includes leading IT experts and data storage gurus, CTOs, CIOs and system architects from the largest vendors as well as innovative startups.

Prostor will host a constellation of international IT experts from companies like AIC, Broadcom, EMC, HGST/WD, Intel, Mellanox, Panasonic, RAIDIX, SNIA, and others.

The conference is presented as a snapshot of the contemporary industry landscape, an interaction platform for competing technologies and approaches that shape up the global data storage market. Its organizers “are striving to re-think the old-school format of industry conference, shush the marketing hype and provide genuine insights into existing, burgeoning and sci-fi data storage technologies.”

The event is organized by data storage vendor RAIDIX, the IT cluster of the Skolkovo Foundation, Broadcom, HGST/Western Digital, Mellanox and Panasonic.
