The fifth edition of Startup Village, the biggest startup conference in Russia and neighboring countries, will be held in Skolkovo on the outskirts of Moscow on June 6-7.
The program will feature no less than 150 interactive sessions about hi-tech trends, emerging markets, business models transformation and breakthrough technologies in business.
Three sessions will be included in the agenda:
- ‘Believable and Unbelievable Tech Forecasts’ session will be dedicated to smart cities, Internet-of-Things, space technologies and their unusual applications.
- The ‘Era of Share: How to Earn on Joint Consumption’ will bring together the leaders of the joint consumption economy.
- The ‘Investment Track’ will feature the most promising investment industries for startups at seed stage.

- Dave Waiser, Gett’s founder
- Slava Rubin, Indiegogo’s founder
- Alisée de Tonac, co-founder and CEO at Seedstars World
- Tristan Pollock, partner at 500 Startups
- Nicolas Brusson, co-founder and CEO at BlaBlaCar
- Amr Salem, Global Managing Director of Smart Cities & IoE at Cisco
- Ernesto Ciolla, Enel’s CTO
- Matthias Meyer, BMW Startup Garage’s founder
Young entrepreneurs will compete for prizes of up to €80,000 (Startup Village Contest) while as many as 150 local and foreign startup inventions will be presented in the Startup Bazaar exhibition.
