Polish fintech accelerator offers up to €45,000 to Russian startups (applications until April 17)

Russian startups are invited to participate in the fourth edition of a 16-week acceleration program Huge Thing in Warsaw, Poland.

Kicking off on June 5, the program targets primarily fintech startups with global potential and an MVP. These include augmented reality, Internet-of-Things, blockchain, cyber security, payments, artificial intelligence and biometrics startups.

The selected teams will participate in group workshops and individual sessions with experts and experienced startups from Poland and abroad. Young entrepreneurs will get access to potential foreign customers and partners during their trips to London and Berlin as part of the program.

A speed-dating session with investors, as well as meetings with corporate representatives, are planned as part of the agenda..

This year’s Huge Thing offers to startups up to €45,000 to test their business hypotheses. The program is equity free.

The fourth edition of the program is being realized in the cooperation with Alior Bank within the ScaleUp program that is supported by the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development.

Huge Thing is an acceleration program established by SpeedUp Venture Capital Group in 2012. It is designed for startups with existing prototypes that undergo market verification, sometimes gaining their first customers, but mainly not attaining a regular revenue.
