Russia’s first international conference on driveless vehicles (Moscow, March 30)

On March 30 the Moscow-based technopark Kalibr will hold Russia’s first international event on autonomous vehicles. Top experts from Russia and abroad will be there to share knowledge, network and discuss partnerships.

The conference will discuss the latest innovations in this field and feature the following topics:

  • What are the latest trends in the field of autonomous vehicles in Russia?
  • Is the country ready to produce and deploy such vehicles?
  • What is the current legislation in this field?
  • To which extent is foreign experience in this field valid for Russia?
  • Which benefits, or threats, can autonomous vehicles bring to cities, and which infrastructure do they require?

Among the expected speakers are:

  • The Head of Department of State Policy of Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation;
  • Denis Unzhakov, Head of the Autonet Group at the Agency for Strategic Initiatives ;
  • Sergey Kogogin, President of KAMAZ Group;
  • Anton Poppel, President of Electric Vehicle Tech;
  • The representative of state company Russian Highways (“Avtodor”)

Some of the lastest Russian technologies in this field will be shown in a dedicated exhibition area.

This event is organized in partnership with the Dpt. of Science, Industrial Policy and Entrepreneurship of the City of Moscow, the Russia-Singapore Business Council, Moscow Polytech, and East-West Digital News.
