On April 19, leading international blockchain professionals will meet Russian bankers and entrepreneurs to discuss local and foreign financial and non-financial blockchain projects as part of the annual Blockchain & Bitcoin Conference Russia.
Held in Moscow, the conference will feature presentations by the representatives of IBM, Microsoft, Sberbank, Higher School of Economics and the State Duma, Russia’s lower house or parliament.
Last year, the event brought together no less than 500 players of blockchain and bitcoin markets. This year, the organizers expect to attract even more international participants.
“Some of our speakers have never visited similar events in Russia so far, even though they actively participate in blockchain conferences held in western countries,” comments Pavel Likhomanov, one of the organizers.
Developers of financial and technical services, as well as financiers, entrepreneurs, lawyers, investors and blockchain experts will participate as speakers of the event.
The agenda will feature two parallel streams for financial and non-financial professionals.
The Finance stream will cover blockchain in banking, state administration and legislation:
- how banking is moving towards blockchain;
- changes in the bitcoin market;
- the outcome of strengthening the bitcoin policy in China;
- the draft of cryptocurrency regulation offered by the Russian Ministry of Finance;
- factors to influence the bitcoin rate;
- the price for one bitcoin to be expected by the end of the year.
The Pro stream will be dedicated to blockchain in non-financial businesses, such as e-commerce, retail, logistics and media. Both entrepreneurs and developers are invited to attend.
An exhibition showcasing hardware and software for mining, crypto wallets, payment systems and other products for B2B and B2C segments will be held as part of the conference.
Blockchain & Bitcoin Conference Russia is part of a series of industry events held annually in Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Kiev, Tallinn and Prague.
