Affirming itself as one of the most active startup acquirers among Russian corporations, 1C, a leading enterprise software publisher, has acquired a 51% stake in amoCRM.
The news was reported yesterday by online publication VC.RU based on an exchange with amoCRM’s CEO Mikhail Tokovinin. The amount and the terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
Tokovinin expects that 1C will help the startup assert itself on the domestic market and support its international development.
The amoCRM cloud service contains information for every client, all active negotiations, current contracts and future deals. The solution also features smart search and analytics functions, tags and filtering as well as mail, webiste, VoIP and mobile integration.
amoCRM does not require any installation or set up: “You don’t even need to have a PC, you can work with amoCRM using a smartphone or tablet,” according to the company.
After a free trial period, amoCRM clients are billled from $15 to $45 per user and per month.
In August, 1C acquired a controlling stake in Quick Resto, a Moscow startup which had developed a SaaS solution for restaurant business automation. Earlier this year, 1C had completed the acquisition of Megaplan, a major Russian corporate CRM solution provider.
