The Baltic tech and startup conference TechChill Baltics cordially invites startups and investors from across Europe, Russia and the USA to share inspirational experience stories in its 5th edition, which will be held in the Godvil concert hall in Riga on Feb. 11, 2016. A house full of industry key-figures, entrepreneurs, investors and media will discuss business development, marketing and funding and other industry issues.
TechChill Baltics 2016 expects to meet more than 400 attendees. One of the headliners is Ross Kingsland, CEO at Inception Growth and mentor at Virgin StartUp, who will visit the Baltics for the first time. Throughout his career, Mr. Kingsland has built communication strategies and trained multi-million dollar businesses and leaders to achieve their goals.
Also participating will be Silje Vallestad, the founder and CEO at Bipper, an award-winning mobile safety company that develops bSafe application. Recognized as the Norwegian Female Entrepreneur of the Year in 2011 and honoured as the Young Global Leader of the World Economic Forum in 2013, Mrs Vallestad has become one of the greatest influencers in the Nordics and acknowledged speakers on entrepreneurship, safety technology and innovation.
Among other speakers are Roberto Bonanzinga, co-founder and investment partner at InReach Ventures; Tal Catran, founder of TC Holdings and mentor at such accelerators as Nielsen Innovate and MassChallenge; Bart Lorang, CEO at FullContact; Monty Munford, an experienced writer for Forbes, TechCrunch, WIRED and The Telegraph and founder of Mob76.
TechChill Baltics is backed by TechHub Riga. This tech co-working space — the first and biggest of its kind in Latvia — gathers more than 30 startups under one roof and regularly organizes events related to startups, entrepreneurship and technology, including monthly Meetups and the TechHub Startup Academy.
