CEE-SECR is the premier software engineering conference in Russia. The 2015 edition of the conference will take place on October 22-23 at the Digital October Center in Moscow. Nearly 1,000 industry specialists, representing all IT areas, are expected to attend the event.
The CEE-SECR 2015 Program Committee is launching a call for speakers, who should apply no later than July 27. Speakers will receive one free pass to the conference.
The conference agenda will include research presentations, experience reports, panel discussions, workshops, and express-presentations with discussions.
The Program Committee invites speaker submissions for the following conference blocs:
- Trends including Internet of Things, social computing, web-scale IT, security etc;
- Traditional topics including technologies and methodologies; process management, human capital, business issues, education etc;
- Domain-specific software engineering in the banking and finance industry, healthcare, transportation, government sector and gaming industry.
The best research paper will receive the Bertrand Meyer Award (40,000 rub., or approximately $700). Academic papers accepted to the conference may be published in the ACM Digital Library.
In past years, keynote lectures were delivered by Bjarne Stroustrup, the author of the C++ programming language and Ivar Jacobson, a major contributor to UML, as well as by Jeff Sutherland, co-creator of Scrum methodology, James Stikeleather, Executive Strategist/Chief Innovation Officer at Dell, Dave A. Thomas, founder of OTI, now the IBM OTI Labs, and many others.
