Yesterday Withoomph launched its service in Russian language – along with Brazilian Portuguese, French, German, Italian and Spanish, – providing Russian businessmen with an inexpensive way of getting a professional logotype via an instant online procedure.
Based in Manchester, UK, Withoomph defines itself as “the first automated online logo company to offer applicable design-led identities for small businesses.” It targets entrepreneurs “who want a strong logo for launch without having the budget for branding consultation.”
After entering their business name and type of business on the Withoomph website, the company’s customers are offered hundreds of logos in sophisticated colour palettes. They may choose their design, adapt where necessary, then purchase and download for immediate use. Logos are priced from £25 or 2,150 rubles.
The UK startup’s decision to enter the Russian market was prompted by a publication on Habrababr, an influential Russian tech blog.
“They mentioned Withoomph in a feature on resources for businesses. Our site was visited by tens of thousands of Russian entrepreneurs asking for a localized version. We have worked hard to build it!,” Withoomph Communications Manager Lisa Hughes told East-West Digital News.
Withoomph was launched November 2014 in the UK following 4 years development, Hugues said. “A creative director in advertising, the founder Darren Hughes was regularly being asked by friends and family to design logos for their new businesses. This inspired him to create this tool.”
