Mail.Ru Group, a leading, LSE-listed Russian Internet Group, has launched myTarget, an advertising platform that combines the audience of mobile services and social networks in Russia and the CIS, including VKontakte, Odnoklassniki and Moi Mir.
“For the first time, we have combined all of our services and the mobile audience. Advertisers receive a single point of access to an unprecedented volume of mobile data traffic of high quality, which is equipped with new service targeting tools, analytics, automatic quality control and traffic optimization,” Dmitry Sergeev, the First Deputy General Director of Mail.Ru Group, told CNews.ru, a Russian tech publication.
According to the group, the service offers a transparent pricing system that makes it possible to more accurately plan the budget. With the help of auction sales, advertisers can independently adjust the intensity of their marketing materials.
In addition to mobile advertising, myTarget will also allow the purchase of targeted advertising on the Internet, previously available through Target Mail.Ru. Advertisements on the web version of VKontakte will continue to be sold under the old scheme, directly through the advertising office.
