The Next Web and East-West Digital News team up to cover Russian digital innovation

As Russia rapidly emerges as a new hot spot on the world’s innovation map, East-West Digital News, the country’s first international resource on digital industries, has teamed up with influential website The Next Web to offer its unique news and insights to TNW’s global readership.

While a regular flow of news stories from EWDN is now offered on The Next Web, the two companies are preparing a special series on Russia’s most promising players – from internationally established web and software companies to lesser known, but brilliant next-gen startups.

“We are very pleased to have a relationship with EWDN as part of our efforts to offer a truly global view of digital innovation,” said The Next Web’s Managing Editor Martin Bryant. “As international players pay increased attention to the Russian market, there is a need for more news and data from this country.”

“This partnership with Europe’s first tech media is an important step in completing our mission, which is to bridge Russian digital industries with the global market. We hope to offer stronger international visibility to Russia’s best innovators and startup entrepreneurs while helping international players better know this fast-growing market,” stated Adrien Henni, EWDN’s co-founder and chief editor.

Among EWDN’s other international media partners are Arctic Startup (Nordic Europe), E-Commerce Facts (Europe), Frenchweb (France), Marchmont News (Russia), Net Media Europe (25 IT websites across Europe), Russia Beyond the Headlines (online and print publications across the globe), Silicon Allee (Germany), Tech Week Europe (UK), Venture Village (Europe), and 01 Net (France), as well as Finance Plus, a 200,000-member global community.
