Russia’s national telecom operator Rostelecom saw its total pay-TV subscriber base increase by 11% year-on-year in the third quarter to 6.4 million.
Of these, 1.2 million were interactive TV subscribers. The telco passed a total of 33.4 million households, of which 15.7 million (47%) were via FTTx technology, while its total broadband subscriber base grew by 12% year-on-year to 8.9 million.
Consolidated revenues in Q3 amounted to R77 billion (€1.92 billion), or 2% more than a year earlier.
OIBDA was 29.4 billion rubles and net income 8% higher at 9.9 billion rubles.
