Midemlab contest 2013: A call to Russian startups

In partnership with East-West Digital News, Midem, the leading international b2b event dedicated to the new music and entertainment ecosystems, cordially invites Russian startups to midemlab. This major startup and app developer competition will take place in Cannes, France, from Jan. 26 to 29 of next year.

If you have built a solution that will help music executives, artists, and brands to engage or monetize audiences, this contest is for you! It is your chance to find new international business partners and investors and get high visibility towards international media and industry players.

Finalists will pitch their business model to a prestigious jury including technical evangelist Robert Scoble, leading investment firms Accel Partners, Walden Venture Capital, DuMont Venture; major tech platforms Deezer, YouTube, Amazon, Rovio, communication & agencies incubators Ogilvy Group, BETC Digital; and influential digital media such as Wired.

Finalists will also benefit from personalized coaching sessions run by Microsoft BizSpark as well as from a number of communications opportunities offered by Midem.

The previous editions of midemlab proved to be a real launch platform for many leading startups in the entertainment field – such as SoundCloud, The Echo Nest, Kickstarter, Bandpage by Root Music, Songkick – to name a few.
