Innobis.ru, a website launched eariler this month, could help Russian startups and innovators find clients among large companies in need of innovative solutions – something most of them have found to be a difficult challenge until now.
Corporations post their requests, problems, or proposed tasks on the website, and innovators can reply, offering their technologies. As a result, companies can be offered several specific proposals based on business demands.
Among the site’s first users are the steel giant Severstal, which will “consider any energy saving technology that can be applied to the metallurgical industry,” and Goznak, the national banknote printing company, which is looking for new paper treatment solutions, and for materials that can display color changes when exposed to variations of light and other natural conditions.
