Last week, IT firm Asteros, headquartered in Moscow, became the first Russian company to receive the status of Authorized Systems Integrator from Apple. Asteros will integrate and service Apple-branded hardware into its clients’ IT infrastructure and tailor the US company’s software to fit the needs of Asteros’ Russian clients.
Formerly known as B.A.C., Asteros is a leader in the construction of IT infrastructure and engineering systems in Russia and employs over 1,000 qualified specialists. The company has offices Kazakhstan and Ukraine in addition to Russian cities.
Apple instituted its Authorized Systems Integrator certification program in 2010 in order to extend the international presence of the company’s products in governmental and corporate sectors currently dominated by Windows PCs.
