VimpelCom brand Beeline TV has made available six additional high definition television channels in its programming package for Moscow subscribers.
VimpelCom is a leading Russian and international telecoms group.
Among the channels in the new offer are National Geographic, Animal Planet, and Discovery. Also included are Russian cinema channels.
With a total of 16 channels, Beeline TV’s programming package in Moscow is now the most comprehensive cable TV package in Russia’s central region.
On the Russian HDTV market, the only alternative to Beeline TV is offered by Platforma HD, a provider founded just three years ago. Its customers can access 12 channels broadcast by Eutelsat’s Eurobird 9A at 9.0°E.
