Russia’s national telecommunications operator Rostelecom and authorities in Belgorod region have signed an agreement to set up a regional innovation center, the company reports.
The regional innovation center Aurora-Park is reportedly to be located in the South-Western district of Belgorod.
Under the project, the center is to include seven business centers: agrobiotechnologies center, urban management and environment development center, New Energy center, international logistics center, future medicine center, high-tech professional training center, Slavic cultural center and center of information and media technologies.
Under plans, about 22,000 people are to live in the center.
The project investment and timeframes have yet to be disclosed.
