Intel and Nizhny Novgorod University launch joint training center

Intel and Nizhny Novgorod University launched a training center for Intel software support this week.

The center will broaden the scope of the university programs and ensure the certification of personnel, particularly in the areas of parallelism, high performance computing and mobile applications, Telecom Daily reported.

“It is certainly not by chance that Intel chose this city, whose educational, research and industrial potential, especially in high tech, is among the most developed in Russia.  This is partly due to a strong military industrial basis inherited from Soviet times,” commented Alexander Blagov, chief editor of VentureVolga.com, to EWDN.
