Pskov expects to have its first business incubator for young entrepreneurs completed and launched this May, RIA Novosti reported, citing incubator director Dmitry Mikhailov.
To build the incubator, about $210,000 has been reportedly spent from municipal and regional coffers. Entrepreneurs will be reportedly provided work space at minimal rent rates; starters will also have an opportunity to get free advice on tax, accounting and legal issues.
According to Mr. Mikhailov, incubator residents will be selected on a tender basis. In May, the project will be able to house 30 young entrepreneurs; for further stages Mr. Mikhailov expects 70.
