Natalya Kasperskaya and Igor Ashmanov launch web reputation management project

Ashmanov describes the project as a service dedicated to monitoring and analysis of positive and negative references to a company, brand or person, with follow up recommendations for corrective action. The service will affect search engine results and blog ratings to boost positive articles and restrain negative ones.

Experts say that the service is not a novelty. Sterno.ru studio launched the BrandSpotter project last year, which works in the same way, and BrandBazar, another similar application, was also launched last year.

Google launched a special module last year to track negative references to companies with the promise to punish unscrupulous businesses gaining high positions in search results by stirring up massive negative feedback.

The new Kribrum project, according to its authors, will function on a more global scale, as the first customers will be well-known international Online casino US companies offering mass market products, though no client names have been disclosed. Ashmanov asserts that the 2018 elections will be won on the Web, with many politicians taking interest in the new service. The announcement of the Kribrum project coincided with news that Ashmanov’s wife, Natalya Kasperskaya will be selling her shares in Kaspersky Lab. The Kribrum project is most likely to be funded from this source. Nanosemantika is another of the couple’s common projects, with Natalya acting in an investor capacity.
