The future of Europe’s single digital market discussed at Sofia’s CEEDS – with free passes for Russian startups!

For its 7th edition in Sofia on April 21-22, the CEE Digital Summit (CEEDS) will welcome Mr. Andrus Ansip, Vice President for the Digital Single Market at the European Commission among 100 top speakers and more than 3,000 attendees from 40 countries.

Russian startups are cordially invited to demonstrate their technology and talent at the event, which will feature a Startup Expo. East-West Digital News, a partner of CEEDS, will offer free passes to the three first startups who will answer this call until March 31 ([email protected]).

What is digital Europe now? What will it become in the coming years, what are the good practices in the Old Continent? These are just few of the fundamental questions which will be discussed by the industry leaders and startup entrepreneurs who meet in Sofia.

This year, CEEDS will feature three main parallel stages:

  • The Tech Summit will welcome CTOs, CIOs from large companies as well as representatives of startups, SMBs and governmental organizations. The main topics include Internet of Everything, Digital Education, Digital Health, Big Data, Cloud, Business Intelligence, Security and Privacy, Money and Payments.
  • The Marketing and Innovation Summit will gather marketing directors, CIOs, and representatives from the biggest advertisers, media groups, advertising networks, agencies and retail brands. Digital transformation, video, mobile, programatic advertising, mobile, metrix, digital commerce, digital entertainment & media, social strategies will be discussed.
  • At the Enterprise2Founders Summit, top executives of established companies will discuss opportunities for innovations through collaboration with startups from the region.

The program also includes a variety of workshops and roundtables for developers and marketeers, the GoViral Academy for content producers, as well as a startup exhibition and a pitch session.

CEEDS is part of the Global Webit Series, which was launched back in 2009 by Plamen Russev, a Bulgarian serial entrepreneur and investor. In just five years, Webit events have asserted themselves among the most prestigious and influential tech events in the EMEA region.

The Webit Ambassadors Foundation is helping entrepreneurs from all over the world as providing them with marketing support, mentoring. The foundation is giving the opportunity to young and innovative companies to connect with investors, media and enterprises.

In 2014, more than 1,600 startups applied for Webit Ambassadors Foundation grant and 180 of them were the selected.
